DURHAM, N.C. – Season and single-game tickets for the 2009 baseball, men’s lacrosse and women’s lacrosse seasons are now on sale at GoDuke.com, the Duke Athletic Department announced Thursday.
Fans can purchase season tickets or single-game admission for each sport by clicking the “Tickets” link on GoDuke.com, by calling the Duke Ticket Office at 1-877-375-DUKE or 919-681-BLUE or by stopping by the Duke Ticket Office located in Cameron Indoor Stadium. An all-sports pass for all three teams also is available.
Single-game admission for each sport is $5 for adults and $3 for children and seniors. A season ticket for the 34 home baseball games is $100 for adults and $75 for children and seniors, and a combined season ticket for the 10 men’s lacrosse and nine women’s lacrosse games is $45 for adults and $25 for children and seniors. An all-sports pass that includes all 50 combined home events for the three sports is $125 for adults and $90 for children and seniors.
The baseball season ticket includes all five ACC home series with matchups against N.C. State, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Boston College as well as non-conference meetings against Elon, UNC Greensboro, Davidson and Liberty, among others. The Blue Devils are coming off a 37-18-1 season in 2008 that included a 29-7-1 record at home at historic Jack Coombs Field.
The men’s lacrosse season ticket features 10 regular season home tilts, including meetings against Cornell, Georgetown, Harvard and ACC foe Virginia. The men’s team is coming off a trip to the Final Four in 2008 and is ranked as high as seventh in the preseason polls.
The women’s lacrosse season ticket includes a rivalry showdown against North Carolina along with non-conference games against Princeton, Vanderbilt and William & Mary. The women’s lacrosse squad is ranked as high as third in the preseason polls and just missed out on a shot at the NCAA Championship last season after falling 9-8 to Penn in the national semifinals.
For more information about tickets, call the Duke Ticket Office at 1-877-375-DUKE or 919-681-BLUE.
