PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Cornell senior midfielder John Glynn (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) became the 35th player in Big Red history to register 100 career points on Saturday as he helped Cornell to a 9-8 victory over Army at Michie Stadium. Glynn was outstanding, scoring two goals, registering one assist, winning 10-of-17 face-offs and picking up a game-high seven ground balls. He was clutch late in the game, scoring Cornell’s eighth goal of the contest before assisting on Max Seibald’s game-winner with 1:00 to play. Glynn then won the crucial en suing face off, allowing the Big Red to run out the clock for the victory.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Princeton freshman defender Chad Wiedmaier (Chatham, N.J.) held Johns Hopkins' All-America attackman Steven Boyle to one goal, which came after the Tigers' had an eight-goal lead; Boyle had scored five goals in two previous Face-Off Classic games against Princeton. Wiedmaier also had four ground balls and equaled Boyle's point total with an assist of his own, which came after Hopkins had scored back-to-back goals to end first half. The play started with him taking a pass in front of Princeton goal and carrying the ball 70 yards down the field before feeding fellow freshman longstick John Cunningham on the doorstep for the goal. Wiedmaier was named Division I Co-Defenseman of the week by Christian Swezey of Inside Lacrosse, sharing the honor with teammate Chris Peyser.

HONOR ROLL
Brown sophomore attack Andrew Feinberg (Owing Mills, Md.) scored three goals and handed out two assists in the Bears' tough 11-10 double overtime loss to No. 12 Hofstra. He also picked up two ground balls. Feinberg leads Brown with six goals and four assists in two games.

Cornell freshman attackman Rob Pannell (Smithtown, N.Y.) tallied one goal and two assists for three points on the day, in the Big Red's 9-8 win over Army. His final assist came on John Glynn’s goal with under eight minutes to play which gave Cornell a crucial 8-6 lead. A wonderful feeder with great field vision, Pannell set up several outstanding opportunities for his teammates to score, but had his efforts stalled by a hot Black Knight goalie that made 22 saves.

Dartmouth's Brian Koch (Rye, N.Y.) scored five goals against Bryant in a 12-9 loss last Tuesday. All of his goals were unassisted, while one was on the man-up advantage. He also scooped up two ground balls. Against Notre Dame in a 19-7 loss, he grabbed two ground balls.

Harvard sophomore attack Dean Gibbons (Garden City, N.Y.) matched his career-high with four goals and handed out an assist to lead No. 15/14 Harvard to a 12-4 win at Stony Brook Saturday. Gibbons had one of his goals on a man-up opportunity and had two ground balls. He scored twice in the first, once in the second and once again in the third quarter.

Princeton sophomore attack Jack McBride (Madison, N.J.) scored four goals in the Tigers' 14-8 win over a Johns Hopkins team ranked third in the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
